Readers and Leaders - Family Night at the Library

Thank you to all of the JJ families that were able to attend the Readers and Leaders event at the public library last Friday night! We are so glad that our grade 3 students are able to participate in this partnership with the Calgary Public Library and First Responders.

Save the Date for the Spring Dance!

The DJ is booked and it’s time for families to hit the dance floor. Mark your calendars for May 7th from 6-8pm at the school!

Our Spring Family Dance is one of the most exciting events of the year for the kids — a night of music, fun, and community connection. BUT this event can only  happen if we have enough volunteers to run it. 

All volunteer slots must be filled by April 20th in order to put tickets on sale, otherwise we will not be able to host the dance. Grab the link and share it with your fellow parents or grandparents and sign up together for a night of fun. Volunteer will have first priority to purchase family tickets. The dance sells out fast every year. If you cannot fill a time slot you can still contribute by bringing a dessert or two for the dessert walk game. Roles can be filled  by any family member or friend. Only 2 of 40 roles require police clearance, they are marked in the signup genius. 

The school dances are fundraisers that directly supports our school and this year as you know we are raising money for the new playground the school so desperately needs.
