Thank you to all the family members that came to our spring concerts. We hope you enjoyed the showcase of our amazing students and Mrs. Paul's excellent music program!

Celebrations

Eid Mubarak! We send best wishes to all families celebrating.

Diversity is our strength and we can learn so much from others! Here is a link to CBE's dates of significance: Dates

Casino Update

We are so grateful to all the people who gave their time to volunteer at the casino in the fall to raise money for our school! We have learned that our school's share is over $89,000! These funds will contribute to our new playground, equipment and experiences for our students. Thank you!

Planning for Next Year

We have already begun planning for the 2026 -2027 school year! It is very important for us to have an accurate count of the number of students that will be attending our school next year so we can have the right number of staff.

Students in Kindergarten to grade 3 who live in our attendance area do not need to register for next year's grade. If you live in a different area, you will be contacted by our office staff. If your child will not be attending Janet Johnstone next year, please contact the office by calling (403) 777-8670 or emailing jnstahl@cbe.ab.ca .

Grade 4 students have been automatically designated to Samuel W. Shaw for English and Woodman School for French Immersion. If you do not live in the attendance area for these schools, your child has been designated to their school. Please contact the office by calling (403) 777-8670 or emailing jnstahl@cbe.ab.ca if you have questions or if your plans have changed.
