Welcome Back:

We would like to say a huge WELCOME BACK to Mr. Carl and Ms. Rochelle, our wonderful Facilities staff!

Online Conferences:

Thank you to all of the families that joined us for online Student Learning Conferences! We are looking forward to more in-person events now that the CUPE strike has been resolved.

Staffing Update:

After Spring Break, we will welcome Ms. Babineau back from her maternity leave. We want to express our gratitude to Ms. Glaz for her commitment to providing an amazing learning environment for the grade 1 class!

School Planning Survey:

Please take a few moments to complete a survey on our School Development Plan, budget and fees. The survey is open until March 31: Survey

Planning for Next Year:

At this time of the school year, we are looking ahead to next year. Please help us make the best plans by keeping us informed of your family's plans. Please fill out this survey by April 4: 2025 - 2026 Survey

Kindergarten registration is ongoing. If your child is turning 5 by December 31, 2025, you can register here: Registration .

Gymnastics:

We will start our gymnastics unit on March 31! For 2 weeks, students will build movement skills and learn about safety using the equipment. The week of April 14, students will try new movements on the Canadian Climber. All teachers are trained in teaching the gymnastics unit in a safe and developmental appropriate way. Please see this letter for more details: Letter

Please help your child to participate safely by:

▪ Wear clothing that allows freedom of movement (no special uniforms or leotards are required – sweatpants/jogging pants/leggings and a t-shirt work best).

▪ Tight fitting clothing is preferable instead of loose fitting or baggy clothing as they may get caught on equipment when climbing.

▪ All jewelry should be removed (please leave at home). This includes watches, rings, necklaces, dangling/hoop earrings etc.

▪ Students with long hair should have their hair tied back. Please provide hair elastics.

▪ Students will be actively moving, so please do not wear footed tights and no dresses or skirts.
