Our school is very busy over the next few weeks…and we need your help!  Volunteers are the back bone of the school.  We are so grateful for our regular volunteers and we appreciate the volunteers that have already signed up for the book fair, Trickster, and the Casino. 

 

We are asking for more volunteers to fill the rest of the jobs required for all three events.  Our school relies on your support for each of these events in the following ways:

·       The Book Fair and the Casino are fundraisers for the school.  The money is used to purchase items for students to use such as library books, technology (document cameras, iPads, etc.), and learning opportunities like Trickster, dance residencies, Alien-In Line skating program….and so much more!

·       Trickster Theater relies on volunteers to help create props and costumes for students for the final production.  Without volunteers, our students will not have what they need for their show.

·       Volunteering creates community!  If you want to meet and get to know some of the other parents in the school community, volunteering is a great way to meet friends!  It’s also important for our students to see how the adults in their lives work together to contribute to our positive school culture.

2.    Trickster Theater!  An email was shared with all families and information was posted on our website on November 7 about our upcoming Trickster Theater Residency Nov 27-Dec 1.  This residency relies on parent volunteers!  Having parent volunteers in the school will help make this fun and challenging week an easier process for everyone involved. Parent involvement in the residency is the key to helping build a strong show and a stronger school community.  If you are able to volunteer, click on the link below to see what dates and times would work for you.

3.    Casino! We are still in need of volunteers for our upcoming casino November 27 & 28. We need all positions filled to run this fundraiser. If we do not have enough volunteers for the casino, we will lose this event and lose $60,000 in fundraising for our students.
