Program Monitoring Survey- Dual Language School
Dear Parents of Janet Johnstone School,
Janet Johnstone School is participating in a pilot project called the Language Program Monitoring Project. This project is a valuable tool for leaders who seek to strengthen the quality of their programs (French Immersion at Janet Johnstone School) and improve outcomes for the students they serve.
Program monitoring answers basic questions about a program’s current effectiveness and suggests new pathways to improve the program.
We will collect information from various sources. Each source will complete a different variation of a survey with questions applicable to the audience. The variety of sources include:
- Grade 3 and 4 French Immersion students
 - Grade 4 English program students
 - All French Immersion parents
 - All English program parents
 - Applicable support staff at Janet Johnstone School
 - All teachers at Janet Johnstone School

The best way for us to gather information and feedback is through surveys.  We are asking you to complete a very short survey (multiple-choice questions) about your experience as a parent with a student in French Immersion OR a student in the English Program within a school with an alternative language program.  The survey will be open on Tuesday, February 6 and will close on Friday, February 16.

Thank you in advance for your support!
