Trickster Theatre is returning to Janet Johnstone School for the week of November 27-December 1, 2023!  Trickster Theatre involves a theatre team coming into our school for a week and facilitating staff and students in creating a unique and highly visual theatre performance.  The week of workshops and rehearsals will culminate in a fun and high-energy production for all students on Thursday, November 30.  Thank you to our fabulous School Council for supporting this incredible opportunity for our school. 

From November 27-Dec 1, Trickster will take over our school, and we need your help!  Jocelyn Gelinas and Laura Bailey, two parents in our school, will be our Trickster Volunteer Coordinators.  Please feel free to contact them if you have any questions about helping with costumes and sets. 

Having parent volunteers in the school will help make this fun and challenging week an easier process for everyone involved. Parent involvement in the residency is the key to helping build a strong show and a stronger school community.  If you are able to volunteer, click on the link below to see what dates and times would work for you.

There will be two amazing performances to showcase our workshops.  The shows will take place on Thursday, November 30! Each class will only perform once during their program show.

• French Immersion Classes: Show #1-  5:30-6:15pm
• English Classes: Show #2-  6:45-8:00pm
