JJSC and FJJSA Update:

At this month's JJSC (Janet Johnstone School Council) meeting, our grade 3/4 French team shared about learning French sounds and the DELF French assessment that our grade 4 students will participate in this spring. DELF is a prestigious assessment of reading, writing, listening and speaking in French that is recognized internationally.

At the FJJSA (Friends of Janet Johnstone School Association) meeting, our Playground Committee shared their progress. They are working on getting funding grants and will be getting quotes from CBE approved vendors. Families can share their ideas in the Playground Survey until February 18. We will be sharing fundraising opportunities for families in the next few weeks.
