Classroom Complexity Team

You may have heard that Alberta Education and Childhood has provided funding for some schools in Alberta to have Classroom Complexity Teams (CCT). We are grateful to be one of 118 CBE schools to receive a CCT.

This spring, we have been able to hire Ms. Dobie, an experienced teacher, to work at JJ twice a week supporting students with self-regulation and in small literacy and numeracy groups, increase Mme Cortney's hours, increase the hours of our regular Education Assistants and hire 2 additional Education Assistants for the rest of the school year.

We will also have a CCT made up of 1 full-time teacher and 2 Education Assistants (in addition to our regular staff) for the 2026 - 2027 school year. We will share details with you in the fall.
